IT WAS LIKE BEING THERE
As the witnesses to the motor vehicle accident stood in front of
the courtroom, they described their accounts of the sequence of events. The
recall of the incident somehow appeared clearer and easier to interpret. The
investigating officer was able to locate the point of impact with respect to
the surroundings. The use of the above model, reconstructing the layout of the
accident scene, was instrumental in establishing the evidence relating to a
case before the courts. The model also allowed us, as expert witnesses, to
comment on the probability of the different scenarios which had been documented
on the model, by the positioning of the scaled-down vehicles
