PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Over 30 years of experience in the engineering
profession covers a wide spectrum of consulting functions:
- Design and site supervision of civil
structural engineering projects. These included industrial plants,
bridges, water supply and sewage schemes and other heavy civil engineering
structures.
- Extensive involvement in the investigation
of failures and damage assessment of a wide variety of industrial plants,
buildings and structures. These included failure of industrial equipment
such as mills, digesters, blenders, boilers, pressure vessels and cranes;
failures of structures such as bridges, towers, silos, tanks, parking
structures and foundations; vibration problems in industrial foundations;
corrosion and stress failures and components and materials, and structural and
metal damage assessment in industrial plants and buildings caused by
fire.
- Product liability cases involving a wide
variety of products, components and machine performances.
- He appeared as an expert witness and arbitrator in numerous
litigation.

other engineering codes and standards such as Canadian, American, British and

- His work on pressure vessels is referenced
